Uniform

DRESS FOR GIRLS

Summer(April to October)

White half sleeve shirt with Tie Collar, Coffee tunic gallis/square neck tunic/skirt, coffee socks, black plain shoes, black hair band/ribbon, Badge/ I-card

Winter (November to March)

White half sleeve shirt, coffee tunic gallis /tunic /knife pleated skirt, maroon stockings, black shoes, maroon machine knit plain half/full V-neck pull-over/blazer.

PT Uniform (On Saturdays)

White tunic skirt with gallis/divided skirt, white socks/stockings, white canvas shoes, white hair band/ribbon

NOTE :
1. Coloured formal Dress on Wednesdays for small children (LKG-II)
2. XI and XII Science students have to wear white apron while working in the labs.

 

DRESS FOR BOYS

Summer (April to October)

White half sleeve shirt, coffee/ gallis shorts/trousers, coffee socks, black plain shoes, Badge/I-Card.

Winter (November to March)

White half-sleeve shirts, dark brown trousers, maroon machine-knit plain V-neck pull-overs and maroon plain blazers (from Class IX onwards)

PT Uniform (On Saturdays)

White shorts/gallis/trousers, House T-Shirt, white canvas shoes and white socks.

NOTE :
1. Undergarments- White vest & coloured underwear
2. Patka worn by the Sikh boys should be of the colour of their shorts/trousers.
3. Coloured formal Dress on Wednesdays for small children (LKG-II)

Recent Notices

Coaching Classes were started in DAV Barkakana campus for classes X and XII for engineering and Medical by Experts

The Hon'ble Prime Minister of India would be interacting with school children on the occasion of Teacher's day on the 5th September,2014.
The Hon'ble PM's address and Q & A session with school children will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

  2. MRS Urmila Singh Principal DAV PS Barkakana has been conferred with "CBSE AWARD FOR TEACHERS" for the year 2012. The hon'ble minister of HRD Govt. of India will present the award on 4th Sept 2013 in New Delhi. The award will comprise a certificate of commendation cash award of Rs 25000/- and a shawl. HATS OFF TO MADAM URMILA SINGH. you have done it.
  3. We bagged the 2nd position in State Level IT Quiz Competition held at International Cricket Stadium, Dhurwa, Ranchi on 8th December, 2012.
  4. The School Kho-Kho team (Girls) became the champion in the 30th zonal MHRAT 2012 held at DAV Public School, Ara(Kuju) on 19-10-12
  5. The School kho-kho team (Girls) became Runner-Up in CBSE Inter School Kho-Kho tournament of East Zone held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial School Digwadih, Dhanbad on 31/10/2012
  6. School IT Quiz Team Bagged the top position in Junior and Senior group in IT Quiz Conducted by MICA at St. Xavier School, Hazaribagh on 1/11/2012 amongst 35 Schools of different districts.
  7. 2nd Inter School karate Champion Ship organised by SHOTOKAN KARATE Do fed. in DAV Barkakana in which in kumite gold medal won by Rahul Pandey of class XI and Bi-Cycle other Students also won Silver,Bronze, and Gold Medal.
  8. District Level Exhibition of National Science congress was organised at Gandhi Memorial High School in which the first and second position was bagged by Junior and Senior Group bagged the first Position and brought Laurels to the School.
  9. Ankita Singh of Class VII B & Ashwani of Class VIII B won the first and second prize at the Poster Competition organized by Lions Club Bhurkhunda. Ankita has also been selected for International Poster Competition.
  10. 6 students are qualified in JEE Mains 2014. Congratulation & Best of Luck of their next examination
