Students from LKG to Std IV have to study two languages as English (Compulsory) and Hindi (2nd language)
Students from V to VIII will study three languages i.e two as Hindi and English and Sanskrit as third language.
The school prints the syllabi for classes LKG to XII, given to the students free of cost at the beginning of the session of the respective classes. We follow the syllabi as per the Central Board of Secondary Education and DAV Education Board, New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English.
The Senior Secondary Section of our school is a trend setter as the school offers Science and Commerce Stream. At the time of admission in class XI, the students are admitted on the basis of the merit performed by the students in X class.
There are no classes for XI and XII Science on Saturdays so that the students can get more time for self studies.
MORAL EDUCATION
To inculcate moral values in the students, the school starts with the morning assembly with the chanting of Vedic mantras and singing of National song and other Patriotic songs. Thought for the Day, News and Quiz are other integral part of it. Stress is laid on eternal values of Indian culture. Short talks are given by the students and the teachers on a variety of subjects. Everyday the school is dispersed after singing Annusashanam. Hawan is performed on every Saturday and Dharm Shiksha books are taught with precision to cultivate moral values. Vedic Camps are also organized. During Hawan, school staff members in addition to the children carry Upasana ; a collection of devotional songs and the Hawan procedure, to make this event an act of self purification.
